Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Columbus, OH)

Greenridge Ember Press is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on incoming inspection for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 264 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for customer orders. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
