Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Chicago, IL)

Westbrook Meridian Inspection Services is an inspection company in Chicago with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on incoming inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for scheduling. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
