Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Chicago, IL)

Northwind Iron Medical is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on incoming inspection for complaint handling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for complaint handling. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
