Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Charlotte, NC)

Ironwood Meadow Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Charlotte area, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our incoming inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for treatment plant data. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
