Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Charleston, SC)

Cedar Bright Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Charleston and nearby communities, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our incoming inspection. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for meter reading. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
