Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Buffalo, NY)

Bluepeak Beacon Press Group produces print and digital publications in Buffalo, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our incoming inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for paper stock. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
