Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Birmingham, AL)

Northwind Junction Auto Group is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on incoming inspection for parts orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for parts orders. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
