Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Birmingham, AL)

Highbridge Cobalt Medical designs and makes medical devices in Birmingham, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our incoming inspection. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for production lots. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
