Quality Inspector - final inspection (Reno, NV)

Bright Meadow Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Reno area. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on final inspection. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for meter reading. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
