Quality Inspector - final inspection (remote)

Amberfield Vale Manufacturing is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on final inspection for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for scrap and rework. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
