Quality Inspector - final inspection (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Meridian Foods and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be final inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for allergen controls. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
