Quality Inspector - final inspection (remote)

Nova Amber Press is a printer and publisher in San Diego serving local and national clients, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our final inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for press runs. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
