Quality Inspector - final inspection (Providence, RI)

Cedar Ember Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Providence area, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our final inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for meter reading. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
