Quality Inspector - final inspection (Omaha, NE)

Amberfield Union Foods is a Omaha food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on final inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for allergen controls. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
