Quality Inspector - final inspection (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Meridian Foods Group and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be final inspection. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for customer specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
