Quality Inspector - final inspection (Hartford, CT)

Westbrook Corner Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Hartford, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our final inspection. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for capital projects. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
