Quality Inspector - final inspection (Chicago, IL)

Fernwood Meadow Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Chicago area. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on final inspection. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for treatment plant data. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
