Quality Inspector - final inspection (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Beacon Water Authority and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be final inspection. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for pipe repairs. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
