Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Timber Manufacturing and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be documentation and audits. You would join a small organisation of about 136 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for machine downtime. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
