Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (San Diego, CA)

Nova Umber Inspection Services Associates provides independent inspection and testing for industry across San Diego. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on documentation and audits. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for certifications. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
