Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Lakeside Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near San Diego. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on documentation and audits. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for grower contracts. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
