Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Orchard Farms and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be documentation and audits. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for packing house output. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
