Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (San Diego, CA)

Northwind Yarrow Foods produces packaged foods at its San Diego plant. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on documentation and audits. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for production batches. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
