Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Field Press produces print and digital publications in San Diego, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our documentation and audits. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for paper stock. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
