Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (remote)

Fernwood Iron Auto Group is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on documentation and audits for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for customer estimates. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
