Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (remote)

Westbrook Kestrel Press is a printer and publisher in Des Moines serving local and national clients, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our documentation and audits. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for paper stock. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
