Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Portland, OR)

Bright Umber Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Portland. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on documentation and audits. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for scheduling. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
