Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Rowan Foods and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be documentation and audits. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for sanitation schedules. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
