Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Oakland, CA)

Silverline Vista Manufacturing is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on documentation and audits for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for scrap and rework. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
