Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Milwaukee, WI)

Fernwood Ember Press produces print and digital publications in Milwaukee, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our documentation and audits. You would join a small organisation of about 117 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for proofing. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
