Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Grand Rapids, MI)

Clearpath Ember Press is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on documentation and audits for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for customer orders. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
