Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Detroit, MI)

Foxglove North Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Detroit plant, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our documentation and audits. You would join a large organisation of about 934 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for machine downtime. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
