Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Lumen Maple Press Associates and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be documentation and audits. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for bindery work. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
