Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Columbus, OH)

Fernwood Meadow Manufacturing is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on documentation and audits for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for machine downtime. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
