Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Nova Oak Foods Group and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be documentation and audits. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for ingredient orders. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
