Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Chicago, IL)

Fernwood Juniper Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Chicago, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our documentation and audits. You would join a small organisation of about 117 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for test reports. • Work with production to fix root causes. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
