Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Charlotte, NC)

Ironwood Meadow Water Authority is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on documentation and audits for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for pipe repairs. • Work with production to fix root causes. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
