Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Charleston, SC)

Cedar Ivory Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Charleston. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on documentation and audits. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for field inspections. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
