Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Buffalo, NY)

Cedar Manufacturing is a Buffalo manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our documentation and audits. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for customer orders. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
