Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Birmingham, AL)

Silverline Cedar Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Birmingham. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on documentation and audits. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for cold storage. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
