Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Birmingham, AL)

Summit Nest Press is a printer and publisher in Birmingham serving local and national clients, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our documentation and audits. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for customer orders. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
