Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Anchorage. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on documentation and audits. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for client sites. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
