Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Virginia Beach, VA)

Fernwood Vista Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Virginia Beach area, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our corrective actions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for water quality. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
