Quality Inspector - corrective actions (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Bright Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for San Diego and nearby communities. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on corrective actions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for meter reading. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
