Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Richmond, VA)

Fernwood Vista Manufacturing is a Richmond manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our corrective actions. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for production lines. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
