Quality Inspector - corrective actions (remote)

Northwind Ember Press is a printer and publisher in Houston serving local and national clients, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our corrective actions. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for print quotes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with print quotes. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
