Quality Inspector - corrective actions (remote)

Fernwood Rowan Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Detroit, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our corrective actions. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for production batches. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
