Quality Inspector - corrective actions (remote)

Amberfield Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Des Moines plant, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our corrective actions. You would join a large organisation of about 369 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for machine downtime. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
