Quality Inspector - corrective actions (remote)

Westbrook Umber Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Portland, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our corrective actions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for equipment calibration. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
