Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Timber Water Authority and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be corrective actions. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for pipe repairs. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
